How to find us by air...
Leeds Heliport (Coney Park) is located inside the Leeds/Bradford CTA (Class D Airspace) half a mile north of the airport itself.
We have some of the best facilities specific to helicopter operations in the country, offering a number of services to based and visiting helicopters. Whether you are looking for an enroute fuelling point (rotors running available), a base for temporary operations in the area or somewhere to park close to Leeds, Harrogate and the surrounding area then we are only too happy to welcome you.
Our comfortable conservatory area offers ample space to relax, flight plan or somewhere for your passengers to wait. We have a selection of hot and cold drinks available and food can be arranged from an excellent local supplier.
We have an excellent relationship with Leeds Air Traffic, so if you are planning on visiting us please read the following information carefully so ensure you have all the necessary information.
Landing at Leeds Heliport is strictly by PPR, all visiting aircraft must book in by telephone prior to arrival. Once booked in study the map on the left and choose the most direct route through the Leeds Zone to Leeds Heliport (Coney Park), direct routings are not normally given.
Upon first contact with Leeds Radar pass your details and request zone entry via the route chosen from the map to Coney Park. Once clearance has been given proceed as instructed by Leeds Radar. Closer to the airport you will be switched to Leeds Tower, remain with them until complete at Leeds Heliport.
If you are visiting for a rotors running refuel it is necessary to provide additional information when you book in for PPR. This will enable us to liase with Leeds Air Traffic on your behalf to ensure they have the required information to issue your departure clearance on completion of refuelling.
Booking out over the radio is not acceptable.
